1. 300: What's in the Box

Please advise the Guest NOT to plug in the power cord until all connections between the soundbar and the TV are made. Next, let's take a look at the remote and how that works:

2. 300: Choices

Scroll down for all info.

There are two ways ot connect this soundbar to the Guest's TV: HDMI and Optical. HDMI ARC will provide the best experience for the Guest.

If HDMNI is an option, the Guest's TV will have an HDMI port labeled as ARC. If they don't have them use the optical port connection.

3. 300: HDMI

First, have the Guest connect the included HDMI cable to the soundbar and run it to the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV. Then, have the Guest plug the soundbar into a power source. The soundbar will automatically default to the correct source.

Finally, mute the TV or there will be an echo.

6. 300: Optical Setup

Please instruct the Guest NOT to plug the soundbar intoa power source until all connections between TV and soundbar are made.

This is an optical port:

Most of the time they glow either red or amber (usually red).

This is an optical cable:

As you can see, there's only one way to plug it in. Just run the optical cable from the back of the TV to the back of the soundbar. Once connected, instruct the Guest to go ahead and plug the soundbar into the wall socket and power it up. It may take up to 6 seconds before the Guest can power on the soundbar upon plugging it in.

Finally, mute the TV or disable the speakers from the TV's menu
