Before You Begin:

Your light switch must be already set up

2. Link C by GE Smart Switch with Amazon Alexa

Depending on the Alexa app version you have, the app icons and layout may look different, but the device linking process is the same.

1. Launch the Alexa app on your phone or tablet.
   

1. Open the Menu from the top left corner.

2. Then select Skills & Games.
   

1. Type in "cbyge" towards the Search box in the top right.
   

1. Tap the found C by GE Alexa skill.
   

1. After that tap Enable.
   

1. Type in your C by GE account login information and tap Sign In.
   

1. Once you linked your C by GE account with Alexa, tap Done in the top left.
   

1. Then tap Discover Devices.
   

1. Wait for the Alexa app to discover your C by GE light switches.
   

1. Your light switches will then be added to the Alexa app and from this point on you can organize them the way you prefer and control them using your voice.
