Factory Reset
To reset the sensor, press and hold the Z-button for about 20 seconds.
The LED will change from steadily illuminated to flashing then back to steadily illuminated, indicating that the reset operation was successful.
Join the Z-Wave Network
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Inclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Rapidly press the Z-button 3 times to include the device in the network.
Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network
From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Rapidly press the Z-button 3 times to exclude the device from the network.

Join the Z-Wave Network

Press and hold the program button on the front for about 1 second to include the device. The LED will stop flashing and glow steading to indicate the device has joined the Z-Wave network.

Join the Z-Wave Network
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Inclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Press the Z-button on your sensor. If your sensor has been successfully linked to your network, its LED will turn solid for 2 seconds and then turn off.
If linking was unsuccessful, the LED will continue to flash if you tap its button.
Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network
From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Press the Z-button on your Sensor. If your switch has been successfully unlinked to your network, its LED will start to flash for a short time.
If linking was unsuccessful, the LED will return to its last state. Tap the button to confirm if it has been unpaired, if unpaired successfully, the LED will flash when tapped.

Momentarily press the Program Switch
The LED should flash 5 times indicating the sensor has not yet been included in the Z-Wave network.
If the LED flashes only 1 time, then it has already been included in a Z-Wave network and must first be excluded before it may join the Hubitat Elevationâ„¢ Z-Wave network.
Momentarily press the button again after it flashes 5 times, to automatically include the sensor in the Z-Wave network.
Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network
From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Press the program button, the LED will flash, indicating the sensor is no longer joined to the Z-Wave network.

Press and hold the Z-Button on the smart plug for more than 20 seconds.
The LED indicator will illuminate Yellow steadily for about 2 seconds.
Join the Z-Wave Network
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Inclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Rapidly press the Z-button 3 times to include the device in the network.
Testing the Smart Plug Z-Wave connection
You can test the connectivity of the Z-Wave network connection, with the RGB LED being used to indicate the connection quality.
To begin testing, press and hold the Z button for 6-9 seconds, releasing the button when the RGB LED illuminates violet.
Note: The smart plug must be included into a Z-Wave network to test the network connection. You can abort the test at any time by pressing the Z button.
Flashing Green: The RGB LED will flash Green while the smart plug is attempting to establish a connection with the main controller.
Solid Green: The RGB LED will illuminate Green for about 2 seconds to indicate that direct communications are stable.
Flashing Orange: The RGB LED will flash Orange while the smart plug is attempting to establish a connection with the main controller with intermediate radio transmitting power.
Solid Orange: The RGB LED will illuminate Orange for about 2 seconds to indicate that the communication quality is moderate.
Solid Red: The RGB LED will illuminate Red for about 2 seconds to indicate that they communications attempt has failed.
Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network
From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
Rapidly press the Z-button 3 times to exclude the device from the network.
The RGB LED will flash Orange while the smart plug is being removed.
The smart plug will be removed from your Z-Wave network and the RGB LED will then illuminate Orange steadily for about 2 seconds.
