How to add and reset Orbit products on Hubitat Elevation hub

 

2. Resolution

Factory Reset

  1. Insert two AA alkaline batteries and re-insert the tray.
  2. Press the RESET button 5 times in rapid secession.

Join the Zigbee Network

  1. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Zigbee on the Device Discovery page to start device discovery.
  2. Slide out the battery tray on the back of the timer.
  3. Insert two AA alkaline batteries and re-insert the tray.
  4. Firmly replace the battery tray to ensure water resistance and increase battery life. You will know the battery tray is fully inserted if it does not pull out easily. 
  5. Turn the dial to AUTO.
  6. When batteries are inserted, the timer will automatically attempt to connect and the wireless icon on screen will begin to flash.
  7. The timer will remain in pairing mode for 10 minutes or until paired. If pairing is not successful after 10 minutes, the timer will stop trying to pair. To enter pairing mode again press the RESET button 5 times in rapid secession. 
  8. Wait for the device to be added into the system, successful pairing will be confirmed by Hubitat Elevationâ„¢
  9. Watch the status in the device details page to confirm proper operation.

Leaving the Zigbee Network

  1. From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
  2. Press the RESET button 5 times in rapid secession.

  1. Ensure the controller is connected to power.
  2. Press the SYNC button 5 times in rapid secession.

Join the Zigbee Network

  1. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Zigbee on the Device Discovery page to start device discovery.
  2. Ensure the controller is connected to power.
  3. Turn the dial to AUTO.
  4. When the controller is first connected to power, it will automatically attempt to connect.
  5. NOTE: If pairing is not successful after 10 minutes, the controller will stop trying to pair. To re-enter pairing mode, push the 'SYNC' button 5 times in rapid succession 
  6. The wireless icon will flash until the controller is paired. Once paired, the wireless icon will remain solid, and the words SMART MODE will appear on the screen.
  7. Wait for the device to be added into the system, successful pairing will be confirmed by Hubitat Elevationâ„¢
  8. Watch the status in the device details page to confirm proper operation

Leaving the Zigbee Network

  1. From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove.
  2. Press the RESET button 5 times in rapid secession. The device will try to re-connect again, so you will need to let it time out or hold the SYNC button for 5 seconds to cancel re-pairing.
