Make sure your ecobee smart thermostat is already installed.
Be near your ecobee smart thermostat.
2. Verify Basic Setup has Been Completed
In order to proceed with this guide successfully, your ecobee Smart Thermostat must be fully installed and functioning properly.
3. Adjust the Screen Brightness
The brightness of your ecobee Smart Thermostat's display can easily be adjusted. There are separate settings for screen brightness when the screen is active, and while on standby. The screen can also be configured to dim completely when your thermostat enters the 'Sleep' activity period.
To Adjust Screen Brightness Settings
Select the Main Menu.
Select Settings.
Select Preferences.
Select Screen brightness.
Adjust the values of the Standby screen & Active screen brightness.
Selecting the Screen sleeps when in Sleep Comfort Setting / Mode will ensure the screen turns off completely when the thermostat is in Sleep Mode, or whenever the Sleep Comfort Setting is active.
