Downloading and installing Google Chrome on a Mac allows you to use one of the most popular web browsers. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open Safari:
   • Launch the Safari web browser on your Mac.
2. Visit the Chrome Website:
   • Go to the Google Chrome download page: https://www.google.com/chrome/
3. Download the Installer:
   • Click the “Download Chrome” button.
   • Choose the version for Mac and click “Accept and Install.”
4. Open the Downloaded File:
   • Once the download is complete, open the downloaded .dmg file.
5. Drag Chrome to Applications:
   • In the window that appears, drag the Chrome icon to the “Applications” folder.
6. Open Google Chrome:
   • Go to the Applications folder and double-click the Google Chrome icon to launch the browser.

2. Install Google Chrome

We will use the built-in Safari browser on your Mac to download and install Google Chrome.

1. Open Safari from your Dock.
