1. Introduction

You may need to factory reset your Polar M200 fitness tracker as part of a troubleshooting step or if you decide to give it to someone else. This guide will help return your device to its original out-of-the-box settings.

Resetting empties all personal data and settings from the M200, and you will need to set it up again if you wish to continue using it.

2. Install on Computer

FlowSync software is offered by Polar as an alternative for those who would prefer to synchronize their fitness tracker's data to their web-based account instead of a mobile device. This is a manual synchronization process, meaning your device MUST be physically connected to a computer in order to perform a synchronization of your data. If you would prefer more of an automated process, please consider using the Polar Flow app on a mobile device.

1. Download and install the FlowSync software from the Polar website for your PC or Mac computer.

2. Press the right button until you navigate to About Product. Press and hold to view the About Product menu.
3. Press the right button until you navigate to Restart Device.
4. With Restart Device showing, press and hold the right button.
5. Press the right button again to confirm the restart.
6. When the Polar logo appears, press and hold down the left button until Restoring appears.
