2. Factory Reset a Ring Video Doorbell

Resetting a Ring Video Doorbell to its factory default state will erase all its saved settings and preferences.

1. Make sure the doorbell is powered up if it's hardwired or the battery is charged.
   

1. Press and hold the reset button on the back of the doorbell for 15 seconds.
   

1. After releasing it, the ring light located on the front will flash a few times indicating the doorbell is restarting.
