1. Introduction: August Connect: Factory Reset

A factory reset will reset the August Connect back to default settings. This is typically done when there is a problem that can only be fixed with a reset or if you want to sell or give it away.

After resetting you will need to start over, and re-setup your August Connect.

2. August Connect: Factory Reset

1. Make sure your Connect is plugged in.
2. Press and hold the button on the front of the front of the Connect for 3 seconds.
   

1. The LED should begin steadily blinking green when it is ready to be setup again.
   

3. August Connect: Re-Setup?

Factory reset removes everything from your August Connect. In order to use it again, you will need to re-setup the device.
