How to Set Up a YUNEEC Ground Station

1. Introduction

Your Yuneec Typhoon 4K comes with a powerful ground station. Control your drone using this ST10+ remote control and touch screen.

Though the ST10+ normally connects automatically to your drone right out of the box, we can show you how to pair the two of them together if you need to.

Tools You'll Need:

• Your ST10+ Remote Control

• Zip ties
• Any other consumable supplies
• Comment out supplies section if no supplies are necessary

2. Charge ST10+ Remote Control

1. Plug your USB cable into the Charger Adapter and the Charger Adapter into an available power outlet.
   

1. Plug the micro-USB connector into the side of the ST10+.
   

1. After several seconds, the battery LED will begin flashing blue.
   

3. Binding the Remote Control

Your ST10+ Personal Ground Station and Typhoon 4K should be automatically be bound together. In the case that you lose your connection, you can easily re-bind your remote control and drone by following these instructions.

Always turn the ST10+ on and allow it to boot up before turning Typhoon on and always turn your Typhoon off before turning off the ST10+.

Bind Your ST10+ Personal Ground Station

1. Power on your ST10+ and allow it to fully boot up.
   

1. Power on your drone afterwards by switching the on button on the bottom of the drone.
   

1. While holding the drone, gently tilt it forward twice. This will start the binding process.
   

1. The LED indicator will begin flashing orange rapidly.
   

1. On your ST10+ remote, tap Flight Settings.
   

1. Tap OK.
   

1. Tap Bind.
   

1. Select your drone from the list. In this case, it will begin with SR12S.
   

1. Tap OK once the connection is established.
   

1. Select the camera, in this case CGO2.
   

1. Tap OK once the connection is established.
   

1. Tap the Back button twice to complete the process.
