How to Setup Cox Security Suite Plus for Mac

1. Introduction

This guide will show you on how to setup Cox Security Suite Plus for Mac.

2. Setup

Complete the steps below to install Cox Security Suite Plus on your macOS computer:

1. In a web browser, go to www.cox.com/securitysuite.

2. Enter your User ID and Password.
 

Notes:

• If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, see Recover Your Cox User ID or Reset Your Cox Password.

• When installing Cox Security Suite Plus for the first time, an activation page displays before redirecting to the McAfee My Account page. Click Install Cox Security Suite to continue.

3. From the McAfee My Account page, select Mac from the drop-down, then click Download. 

4. To confirm you have read and accepted the License Agreement, click Agree and Download. 

5. Click Download and then click Save File. 

Notes:

• Make sure to save the serial number to use when prompted during the installation process.
• If the serial number is not used within two hours, you will need to restart this process.

6. Complete the following.

1. Click Download.

   Result: The McAfeeMacInstaller pop-up window displays.
   
   
2. Click Open.
3. Enter your Mac administrator Username and Password.
4. Enter the serial number provided.
5. Click Next.
   
   Result: Software installation begins.

7. Once the download is complete, click Finish.

Result: A confirmation pop-up displays to install WebAdvisor.

8. Select the desired option to complete your installation.

• Click Install.
  
  Result: WebAdvisor is downloaded and installation is complete.
  
  
• Click Don’t Install.
  
  Result: Installation is complete, your computer is protected.
